John and Maria Patrinos have owned and operated restaurants in Alberta for over 30 years, and have been serving up quality meals with hearty portions and excellent value in Canmore since 1993. They are a husband-and-wife team who met in Jasper in the late 70s. John came from Greece to work in his cousin’s restaurant. Maria, from Quebec, came for the summer to see the Great Canadian Rocky Mountains. They met while working together, and the rest is history.
After two successful restaurants in Rocky Mountain House and Stettler, Alberta, John and Maria decided to move their young family to the Rocky Mountains where they first met.
Hard-Working Family Values
John and Maria’s three children are well known to Patrinos’ patrons. Their customers have watched them grow over their two decades in the Bow Valley. They have held almost every position within the restaurant. Their son, Saki, has become their best chef as he has inherited his father’s hard-working nature and natural knack for cooking. Their daughters, Ioanna and Dominique, now have careers of their own, but still make regular appearances when help is needed with the family business.
A Big Thanks to Our Special Patrons!
John and Maria would like to thank all their patrons for their support over the past two decades. They feel so fortunate to own an establishment within one of the most picturesque places in the world that has so much to offer; from community and adventure to the endless opportunities they have had to connect with people from all over the world.
With gratitude, our family invites you to visit us for a delicious dining experience you won’t forget!
“Food was great, service was great. I really enjoyed this spot.” –Tim H.
